Savannah Chrisley – Finds Place of Peace

“Right now, where I’m at with Chloe and Grayson and my story…I had a conversation with my dad and he said, ‘This is going to be the hardest, but most rewarding thing you’ve ever done.’ I’m starting to see that.

“It’s so crazy because I went from a place, sitting in the same chair thinking about how mad I was at God, ‘Why would you allow all these things to happen?’…Now I’m in a place of such peace,” Savannah said when describing the ups and downs she’s experienced since her parents reported to prison.

Todd And Julie Chrisley’s Story

Todd, 53, was sentenced to 12 years at FTC Pensacola in Florida while Julie, 50, received a sentence of seven years which she is serving at a federal prison at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky. Both are set to serve 16 months of probation upon their release.

In November, Todd, 53, was sentenced to 12 years and 16 months probation, and Julie, 50, was sentenced to seven years and 16 months probation after they were convicted on federal tax evasion charges in June.

Savannah Chrisley – Is Grieving Loss Of The Life She Used To Know

“With Chloe and Grayson, they need to see peace and calmness,” Savannah explained. “We need to figure out healthier ways to cope with things and deal with things. Even if it’s just little things, I’m trying to implement because I’m not their mom. I’m not their dad. I’m their sister. I want to stay in that role as sister, but it’s hard when you’re in the role of parent and discipline.”

And while Savannah is trying to parent both Grayson and Chloe, she emphasized that she too is “grieving the loss of parents” while struggling to fill the role of “mother” in the youngster’s lives.

Chrisley Family News – Are Life Changes Proving Too Much?
