Josh Duggar’s – Ashley Madison Scandal
The Counting On spoilers shared the details of Josh Duggar’s Ashely Madison scandal. In August 2015, the cheating site exposed the names, numbers, and email addresses of the married men who used the service. Most of them were athletes, politicians, public figures, and reality stars.
In late September 2015, adult star Danica Dillon admitted that she had a fling with Josh twice. They first met at a strip club. Their hookups took place in a hotel room.
Earlier that month, another anonymous woman alleged that she had unprotected coitus with the famous Duggar sibling. However, nothing else came from those allegations.
At the time, the Counting On spoilers suggest that Josh Duggar released a statement about his string of affairs, most of which came to light. He asked his fans to pray for his family during that time. He also asked them for their forgiveness.
According to the spoilers, Josh edited the statement several times after first posting it on social media.
Fans noticed that his words would change every time. Some even called him out for his hypocrisy. Now, there are new details about his statement in light of the docuseries.
The Counting On Spoilers – Josh Duggar’s Statement
According to the Counting On spoilers, Josh Duggar issued another statement. The user anonymous_girl1227 posted a screenshot of the statement on Reddit. It reads:
“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife,” Josh Duggar wrote.
Fans took to the thread to react. Some argued that he still didn’t take full accountability for his actions.
For instance, he wrote “I became unfaithful” as if he still wasn’t cheating on his wife. He also made it sound like it was something that happened to him instead of something he actively did, according to the critics.
One fan noted: “He changed the statement at least twice. That was a fun day, watching the Duggar website go through edits.”
“‘Last several years.’ He was lying about lying. Josh will never change,” another Redditor argued.
“Yet another thing that disgusts me about this – he says he ‘became’ unfaithful like it just happened to him. Not ‘I was unfaithful.’ There’s absolutely zero accountability here, and he was only sad he got exposed,” a third user noted.
