GH Spoilers: Will Cody Win Sasha’s Money Back?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that as Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) get to know each other, he might gamble to get her money back. Cody and Sasha will soon find out that they know the same Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Cody can out gamble Gladys in a heartbeat.

General Hospital Spoilers – In Over Her Head

Gladys is in over her head at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) high stakes poker game at the Savoy, and already paid with the expensive diamond earrings Sasha gave her for Christmas. Cody was in the same situation a few months ago, but Selina had her henchmen beat him to a pulp in a back alley when he won the whole pot! Gladys already reached out to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) but didn’t get past talking about selling Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage, and Sonny advised Sasha needed to sell it for more.

Poor Sasha has no clue that her mother-in-law, her guardian, who she has come to trust, has gambled away all her money. That means not only Gladys, but Sasha is in over her head as well.

GH Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore And Cody Bell Bond As Friends

Neither Sasha nor Cody would be in the market for a romance with each other, although they do bond as friends – and find they have a lot in common. They relate well, it’s easy for them to talk freely, and they find that they like each other, and Cody doesn’t hold her past against her.

General Hospital spoilers show Cody knows that Sasha was in a huge bind when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) hired her to play the part of Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Cody has done similar things when he was in a bind, so he’s no one to judge and they get along very well in a naturally formed friendship. Soon they realize that they know the same Gladys when Sasha tells him Brando’s last name, since she didn’t take the Corbin name because of her career.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell’s Still Attending The Game

Cody’s still attending the poker game although he knows better than to win the whole pot – and he knows that Sasha’s mother-in-law’s in over her head. He doesn’t want to be beaten up by Selina’s henchmen but he does want to spare Sasha any problems and any more fear in her life. He makes an arrangement – he and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) had Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in common so they work together so Selina doesn’t know.

Cody arranges to gamble back everything Gladys owes Selina and everything Gladys gambled away of Sasha’s. Brad cooks the books so everybody’s square and no one is the wiser.
