GH Spoilers Wednesday, December 20: Growing Closer, Concerning Behavior, Sad Realizations

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, December 20 tease some are growing closer, some note concerning behavior and others have sad realizations.

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) grow closer, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) notes concerning behavior and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a sad realization.

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson’s Questions

As the family gathers for the holiday, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has questions. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has arrived with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Portia asks “what do you really know about love?”

Perhaps they know a lot more about love than Portia does-they didn’t keep someone’s paternity a secret for over twenty years. Nonetheless, it looks like it should be a relatively peaceful family Christmas.

This will be the first family Christmas that Spencer has come to with Trina. Things are getting serious so Portia may as well deal with it.

GH Spoilers: Getting Closer

Meanwhile, outside on the deck, Marshall and Stella are getting closer, and having fun dancing.

They’re not going to let the family grinch ruin their Christmas holiday and their getting closer has been a long time coming.

They’ve known each other for years but it seems like they’re starting to appreciate each other as more than a pair of in-laws. Does anyone see any mistletoe hanging in the Ashford-Robinson house?

General Hospital Spoilers: Hamilton Finn’s Uncertainty

Elsewhere, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) seems very uncertain as he tells Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) he doesn’t know what to do at this point.

He’s still worried about the malpractice suit and he may be worried what he’ll do for a living if he can no longer practice medicine.

The malpractice hearing is still down the road but even though he knows GH is backing him he’s worried.

He may even fear he’ll be put in jail but that doesn’t usually happen in malpractice suits. The worst might be he’ll have to find a different career.

GH Spoilers: Violet Finn Is Worried Too

It looks like Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) is worried too, as she tells her troubles to Jake Webber (Hudson West).

She tells Jake her daddy is going away-does she fear he’s going to jail too? That’s a big leap to go from worrying about a hospital hearing to fearing a prison sentence.

It sounds like Violet is hearing her father worrying about things too much and she’s trying to make sense of something that makes no sense!

General Hospital Spoilers: Concerning Behavior

At the dorms at Port Charles University, Dex is concerned as Josslyn Jacks (temporarily Courtney Fulk) spots Adam Wright (Joshua Benard) and asks what he’s still doing there.

She and Trina had just recently talked about Josslyn trying to find a different study partner because Adam has become problematic.

It seems like Adam either has a crush on Joss or he may be emotionally dependent on her and that’s not a good place to be.

Dex looks like he’s about ready to get involved to solve the problem of Adam hanging around too much. Adam may not like what Dex has to say!

GH Spoilers: Unexpected Visit

Elsewhere, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is hit with an unexpected visit-it’s Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and he tells her he requires her urgent assistance!

It’s been a while since Maxie has seen the father of her oldest daughter and now he looks like he’s trying to make up for lost time.

Maxie seems a bit concerned yet perturbed at his showing up out of nowhere, seemingly in some kind of dire straits; it’s like she’s thinking, “what now?” He looks like he’s gotten a little banged up-perhaps he’s gotten into an accident?

General Hospital Spoilers: Charlotte Cassadine Worries

Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is with her grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as she’s impatient for her father to show up.

Charlotte is upset as she notes to Laura that it’s Christmas Eve, what could he possibly be doing?

Laura frets as she has no answers as to where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is or what he’s doing.

He should show up eventually, he’s just been detained by an important matter. It’s not a matter of life and death, but it’s certainly a matter of the heart.

GH Spoilers: Sad Realizations

Elsewhere, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is telling Valentin she can no longer be part of his family-and that has to be about Charlotte.

After John Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) arrest, she was talking to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about not letting anyone be hurt by her actions anymore.

There is nothing anyone can do, it seems, to placate Charlotte or get her to trust Anna’s not going to hurt her father or her.

So the only thing Anna can do is no longer have anything to do with her or Valentin.
