GH Spoilers: Nikolas Here And Gone Again, Is Tyler Christopher Returning?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease with Adam Huss popping in as Nikolas Cassadine for a day and then popping out again, could Tyler Christopher be returning? There seems to be a delay in the return of Nikolas, and the show has been very slow in bringing Nikolas back.

General Hospital Spoilers – Fans Want Old Guard Nikolas Cassadine Back

Many GH fans have expressed that they want old guard Nikolas back, the Nikolas who loved his family and sacrificed for them.

The newer Nikolas character since Marcus Coloma took over and even more with Adam Huss, has become a darker version of Nikolas-one longtime viewers don’t recognize.

Old guard Nikolas would never have run off and played dead and kept his little boy out of the loop-and the last few scenes Tyler played, he didn’t.

Nikolas rushed into a burning room to rescue the child Spencer Cassadine (at that time Nicholas Bechtel, now Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

The first time he tried to fake his death he told Spencer-but after Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) shot him out of a window, he didn’t tell anyone he was alive.

GH Spoilers – Tyler Christopher’s Last Nikolas Cassadine Appearance 2016

Tyler’s last appearance as Nikolas was in 2016, being abruptly replaced by Nick Stabile for around two months-the Nikolas who Valentin shot out of the window on Cassadine Island.

It seems as Valentin has been seemingly redeemed Nikolas has been getting steadily worse and darker.

In August 2017 he showed up on Days of Our Lives as Stefan O. DiMera, but it wasn’t long until he was replaced by Brandon Barash, who’d left GH as Johnny Zacchara.

Granted, Tyler’s had his problems, including brain surgery, but he’s tried to get himself straightened out-he was arrested in May 2023 for public intoxication after falling asleep outside an airport.

The return of Nikolas after he was presumably killed by Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been dragged out so long, it has to make you wonder.

General Hospital Spoilers – On Life Support, Then Fully Functional

Shortly after Ava supposedly killed Nikolas with a gargoyle statuette, his body disappeared from Spoon Island-he was later revealed on life support with Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) taking care of him.

In September 2023 Nikolas popped up alive and fully functional at Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) house in Pautauk, and it was revealed Austin revived Nikolas and put him on life support.

Then Nikolas said goodbye again, to take care of loose ends in Europe, while Valentin, his mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) were on a wild Nikolas chase!

GH Spoilers – Are All The Delays Giving Time For Tyler Christopher’s Return?

It’s plain that Tyler is trying to get his life together and himself, Maurice Benard clearly on his side. Maurice had Tyler in “goat therapy” at his farm.

Tyler also shared his guardianship problems, in an eerie coincidence a real life story of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

He revealed his sister, Susan Amos Baker misused his money while he was in rehab in 2020 similarly to how Gladys is using Sasha’s-he didn’t say if Susan gambled.

Adam Huss has expressed interest in playing Nikolas any chance he gets, but he is a pretty busy guy-might this latest exit give Tyler a chance to come back as Nikolas?
