General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Turns On Michael

General Hospital spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) wants what he never had, and he’s pointing fingers at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Sure, Michael is taking all the heat for turning his back on his father, but Dex believes he deserves his share of blame, too. After all, he never had the chance to know his own dad. Some rumors suggest that his elusive sperm donor is none other than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Indeed, the mob kingpin has often put work ahead of his family, but he’s done it for the right reasons. Dex came into this assuming his dad was as bad as Michael proclaimed, but he’s seen another side to the guy now that he just can’t ignore. As his reception toward Sonny softens, Dex will have a hard time playing nice with Michael.

Rumors are flying faster than Luke can down a shot at the bar that GH’s Dex could potentially be Sonny’s long lost son. A mother unknown? Classic soap maneuver. As if that wasn’t enough to keep Dex up at night, he’s envious of Michael’s seemingly tight bond with his loving father that he has completely thrown under the bus.

It’s understandable that Dex resents Michael for treating Sonny as though he’s disposable when it’s the only father Dex ever could have had.With no father figure in his life, Dex has been on a mission to take down Sonny and bring him to justice, but he just might reserve that justice for his brother now.

GH Spoilers Say – “At Least You Knew Him!”

What really had us scratching our heads is Dex’s willingness to help Michael take down a man he didn’t even know. Could it be that Dex is harboring some deep-seated resentment towards Sonny because he’s the father he never had? Is he just jealous that he never had a father and meanwhile, Michael was taking Sonny for granted and acting as though he wasn’t good enough for him? The arrogance!

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Heller’s Beef is Bigger Than We Can Imagine

If Dex grew up like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) did — without a dad but alongside a mom who gave him plenty to make up for it, then he probably wouldn’t be here right now. So, it’s probably safe to assume Dex has grown up bitter and resentful that his dad wasn’t around. Now that Dex has had time to get to know Sonny on a personal level, he doesn’t want to let go.

There’s no way Michael could have expected this turn of events, because Dex didn’t even expect it himself. Sonny’s henchman will have a lot to answer for when Michael and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) come knocking. Speaking of…how do you feel about Dex dating his former stepsister?
