Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 – Is The Series Finale

Back in January 2023, the show makers announced that Season 8 would be the final one for the show, and fans surely didn’t expect it to come to an end so soon. However, one aspect that kept fans elated was the fact that Kim Dickens, who played the character Madison Clark and was presumed dead, would return for the last season as a series regular.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 will dig deep into the world of PADRE. For the unversed, this was a mysterious place that the US government set up, loaded with instructions and supplies to help rebuild the society after the zombie apocalypse. Back in Season 7, Morgan met up with Madison, and she revealed that PADRE has been abducting children from parents that they deem are not capable of raising kids properly. At PADRE, the children are trained for unknown purposes, which might be revealed in Season 8.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 – Will Have A 7 Year Time Jump

Apart from revealing the details of the mystery behind PADRE, the upcoming season will also feature a seven-year-long time jump where the show’s fans will see the survivors living in conditions that are not favorable.

As per reports, Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 will be released on AMC+ in two parts, with each featuring six episodes. Season 8 Part 1 will drop on AMC+ on May 11, while Part 2 will drop on May 14 at 9 p.m. ET.

Set in the same universe as the original series, Fear The Walking Dead explores the zombie apocalypse via the POV of a fractured family. The series showcases a dystopian Los Angeles city where those who escaped the apocalypse come for shelter, shield their secrets, as well as bury their mysterious pasts.
