So, when Bo and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) had that tense face-off, Shawn believed his mother was in danger.

What Shawn didn’t know is that Hope had literally just gotten through to Bo. Although Shawn was acting on the only information he had at the time, he still blames himself.
