The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Phyllis Newman Losing Her Mind?

Nobody can argue that Diane (Susan Walters) did a whole lot of people wrong the last time she was in Genoa City. She did so many horrible things that she felt the need to fake her own death and abandon her son for more than a decade. Nobody can also argue that she has secrets from the decade and is likely not on the up and up about everything now, but sometimes it does fel like Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) needs to give it a rest.

She seems to have nothing but a one-track mind when it comes to Diane and she is determined to make Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) see the truth about the woman. She is also quite disturbed thinking that her daughter, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), is also now taken in by Diane. How can this be? What are these two people she loves so much thinking?

Diane also loves to gloat in front of Phyllis and show her how happy she is and how great things are working out for her now. She does more of that this week just to drive Phyllis more insane. Phyllis puts on a sugary sweet act with her rival, but nobody is buying it.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman Is Curious

OK, maybe Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) buys the act for just a little bit when she sees Phyllis pouring it on thick at The Grand Phoenix. She questions Phyllis about what might be going on and wonders if Phyllis might be going soft. After all, she, Phyllis, and Ashley Abbott have a plan and that plan can’t be abandoned.

Phyllis assures Nikki that it’s still full speed ahead with running Diane out of Genoa City for good. These women have a mission and they do not intend to lose. But haven’t they both been saying this for decades now? Even when presumed dead, Diane always seems to win.
