And that’s not all, either. He’ll soon discover that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) helped her keep her suicide attempt a secret from him. It will send Adam reeling—unsure how to help Chelsea.

Chelsea asked Billy to keep it a secret that she tried to jump off Society’s rooftop. She worried that Adam would use that information against her in some way. Billy agreed. But it won’t remain a secret forever, and soon Adam will find out the severity of Chelsea’s depression. It’s anyone’s guess how Adam will react, which is probably why Chelsea wanted to keep it under wraps.

On Friday, October 28, Billy found Chelsea on the rooftop, ready to jump. He stopped her and stayed by her side. He told her he couldn’t leave her alone because she had many people who loved her and needed her. Of course, she tried to get him to leave her alone. Eventually, she allowed him to stay.

Billy called Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for help. He wasn’t sure how to help her, and he knew Sharon would know what to do. Sharon suggested a treatment facility, to which Chelsea objected.

Billy isn’t fond of Adam, so it didn’t take much convincing to keep him out of the loop. He swore he wouldn’t tell anyone what happened. He only contacted Sharon for help, and she promised to keep it between them.

The longer Billy waits to inform Adam about Chelsea’s declining mental state, the worse the bombshell will affect Adam. He will wonder why he waited so long to tell him and how this news will affect Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

There is no telling how Adam will react, as he can behave unpredictably. He will worry about how his son will handle his mother wanting to die. It could set the stage for another round of Billy versus Adam, especially as Chelsea and Billy grow closer.
