Sister Wives – Meri Brown Remains Despite Marital Woes

According to TV Shows Ace, Meri hasn’t kept her marital struggles from fans and has always been transparent about the difficulties in her life. After having been a member of Kody Browns polygamist family now for 32 years and it’s not always been marital bliss.

In 2015 the couple was involved in a catfishing scandal after which Kody decided that he no longer wished to be intimate with the Sister Wives veteran. Despite the difficulties, the two have remained married. More recently Meri has revealed a desire to pursue her own happiness, but she has stated on several occasions that she loves her polygamist family. It’s clear, at this point, that she’s no plans of going anywhere.

Sister Wives – Meri Brown Takes Sentimental Trip to Oregon Coast

Sister Wives fans will recall when Christine Brown, 49, left the plural marriage after more than 25 years. She made the announcement via Instagram back in November 2021. She informed fans that she and Kody had “grown apart” but that they planned on maintaining a strong presence in each other’s lives for the sake of their six children together.

As for Meri, she recently took a trip to the Oregon coast to pay tribute to her mother after losing her a year ago. She took to Instagram to share her feelings with fans.

Sister Wives Brown A Weekend for ‘Honoring and Remembering’

The Instagram post the Sister Wives veteran made to commemorate the one-year anniversary of her mother’s death read like bittersweet yet uplifting poetry. She began by listing everything that being without her mom for a year meant to her.

“One year today. One year of missing her. One year of cherishing memories. One year of figuring out life without her. One year of learning and growing. One year of looking toward my future and honoring her in my actions and ideas. One year ago today, my mom left this world and left a hole in my heart,” the TLC personality wrote.

She then addressed the occasion, writing, “This weekend I spend honoring and remembering her, surrounded by some of my favorite people, in a beautiful space on the Oregon coast. This is a good day, a good weekend, and I’m looking forward to my progress and change in the coming year.”
