Josh DuggarJosh Duggar spent months in prison awaiting his sentencing trial for child pornography charges. But his sister Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard slammed Josh’s actions.

Now, after Josh’s 151-month prison sentence, several members of the reality TV family have responded. Find out how Michelle, Jill, and other relatives reacted. Get the latest on the Duggar family below.

Jill Duggar And Derick Dillard – React To Josh Duggar’s Sentencing

Making Josh Duggar accountable! The reality TV star’s sister Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard wrote a lengthy response to the sentence of 151 months for child pornography. And above all, the couple feels that the verdict has succeeded in making Josh pay for his crimes, noted Page Six

Jill, 31, also feels grateful that the lengthy case has ended. It took five months from the date on which Josh received a guilty verdict for receiving and possessing child porn to get the hard-won verdict. As a result, “the last several weeks and months have been difficult emotionally. Yesterday was another one of those hard days,” wrote the pregnant “Counting On” star and her husband.

“Until now, he has yet to be held accountable to the extent necessary to cause change in his dangerous pattern of behavior,” noted Jill and Derick. And the couple called what they see as the reality an “unfortunate” situation. “It is unfortunate. but it seems that it may take spending over a decade in federal prison, and still more on probation, for Josh to have any potential for rehabilitation to the point he can safely live in society again.”

Michelle Duggar -And Cousin Amy React To Jailed Josh Duggar

But Josh’s cousin Amy and his mother Michelle Duggar revealed dramatically opposing views to the sentence. Amy has become famous for her outspoken attacks on Josh. And in contrast, his mother Michelle has joined his wife Anna in ignoring the crimes to support her son. But in the wake of the verdict, Michelle reacted by focusing on Anna, an insider told In Touch

And Josh’s mother responded to his long jail sentencing by urging Anna to move in. Both Michelle and her husband Jim Bob Duggar hope that their daughter-in-law (and presumably her seven kids!) will pack up and move into their home. And the couple wants Anna to stay there until Josh gets freed from prison. Thus far, Anna has not decided whether to accept that invitation.

In contrast to Michelle, Josh’s cousin Amy Duggar used the verdict to slam Josh. Turning to Twitter, Amy wrote, “This is the day that smug gross smile slowly fades as [Josh Duggar] gets locked away.” And Amy also slammed both Michelle and Anna Duggar.

“Anna and my Aunt [Michelle Duggar] denial is hurting ALL children,” tweeted Amy. “Every victim that has ever been hurt. Every little voice that can’t speak for themselves. And as a mother, this INFURIATES ME.”
