GH Spoilers: Carly Sniffs Around In Elizabeth’s Past

General Hospital spoilers reveals Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) recently found herself on Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) doorstep, despite not being all that welcome. These two women have known each other for a long time, and while they’ve never been what most would call friends, they still know one another pretty well. When Carly saw Elizabeth going through some of her most personal belongings and preparing to torch all the photographs of her parents, she urged Elizabeth to reconsider.

Having been through her own struggles with her birth and adoptive parents, Carly knows what it’s like to make rash decisions in an attempt to run away from one’s past, and she knows how it feels to regret those choices later. In an interesting twist, she offered her friendship to Elizabeth after having seen the shape she was in, but Liz firmly turned it down. Unfortunately for Liz, General Hospital spoilers show Carly never has done well at minding her own business, and she’s not about to start now.

Carly left Elizabeth’s home with a picture in hand of her parents, Jeff Webber (William R. Moses) and Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby). While Carly has never met either of them, it’s likely she’s going to bump into Jeff during his stay in Port Charles. She also might have the picture on hand next time she sees her own mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman), who knew the Webbers all too well. As Carly begins to learn more about where Elizabeth came from, she won’t think much of it until her path crosses with Liz again — and she’s notably more on edge.

Liz’s mood will undoubtedly be a complex result of not knowing where she stands with Hamilton Finn (Michae Easton), being caught off guard by her father’s sudden appearance in Port Charles, and finding out Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is not only back in town but being kept cozy at Wyndemere by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Elizabeth’s problems with the men in her life is something Carly can relate to, but Liz isn’t likely to open up to Carly of all people. However, that doesn’t mean Carly will stop snooping.
