General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be psyched when their stock prices go up overnight! They’ll find out they have a surprise investor who’s probably not so much of a surprise in an upcoming GH episode!
General Hospital Spoilers – Surprise, Surprise, Surprise
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had been bugging Drew with offering to save ELQ for several days now, with Drew trying to discourage her from getting involved in their dilemma. However, she had never mentioned buying shares of Aurora Media, she’d only mentioned saving ELQ, but it’s just a tit for tat considering the impending merger. Drew hadn’t wanted her involvement because it’s never a good idea to get family and friends to invest in something that’s not a sure thing.
Drew knew if Carly invested in the company or companies that she would be taking a huge risk financially since the stock markets are usually volatile anyway. But Carly said since the stock is publicly offered she was going to do what she was going to do anyway!
GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Must Have Bought A Boatload Of Stocks!
Carly must have bought a boatload of stocks, because her purchase inflated the stock so much that they’re riding high and are in a good place at Aurora. Now, Drew and Michael have a fighting chance at pushing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) out as Chief Executive Officer of ELQ. Michael is rather shocked and not exactly happy with his mother for riding to their rescue, and a little hesitant to move forward with the merger. But as for Drew, he’s thrilled at the outcome, even though he had tried his best to discourage Carly from investing, now he’s glad that she did! Now, if they could only convince Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to get on the boat!
General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Is Still Recalcitrant And Stubborn
Ned is still recalcitrant and stubborn, and refuses to come on board with Drew and Michael – he will take nothing less than a CEO position! Ned did come off his high horse slightly when he made a suggestion that he, Drew and Michael share equal power and therefore they would be a CEO team of three. Drew and Michael haven’t discussed that option and gotten back with him yet, and in the meanwhile Ned called Valentin!
Valentin had approached Ned about teaming up and keeping ELQ against Michael and Drew’s Aurora Media, therefore quashing the merger. He doesn’t seem to understand that they are trying to get ELQ back in the hands of the Quartermaines through this merger!
GH Spoilers – Don’t Get Too Excited
Drew may be celebrating a little too prematurely, not taking Ned and his power position talk all that seriously, knowing that it’s a Quartermaine thing to backstab and argue. Before he was kidnapped by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and presumed dead for two years, Drew didn’t want to touch Quartermaine drama with a ten foot pole! But after that experience, and bonding with his twin Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) only to lose him, he appreciates his Quartermaine legacy more. But he is blissfully ignorant in his figuring no Quartermaine would team up with Valentin to go against the family, when in fact Ned is thinking of exactly that!
