General Hospital Spoilers: GH Alum Tyler Christopher Joins Maurice Benard’s Podcast

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveals Maurice Benard may play mobster Sonny Corinthos but Maurice is also a mental health advocate. Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas Cassadine) will join Maurice on his YouTube series State Of Mind on Sunday, March 27.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maurice Benard Is Bipolar

General Hospital’s Maurice started his program to help people deal with mental health issues. Maurice was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder years ago and knows that the struggle is real. Maurice has been a mental health advocate for years. Maurice is an ambassador for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health). Benard was diagnosed at 22 but he almost lost his job because of his health struggles. Benard finally got his illness under control and has spoken out concerning mental illness for years. Maurice is also using General Hospital as a way to help others. Maurice’s character has been diagnosed as bipolar as well. Sonny has constant struggles trying to stay on his medication and keep his illness under control.

GH Spoilers  – Maurice Benard s State Of Mind

General Hospital’s Maurice addresses a lot of issues on his YouTube program, State Of Mind. Benard often interviews individuals, usually fellow actors about mental health issues. The actors discuss sometime first and even secondhand accounts of issues experienced by themselves or other family members. Spoilers indicated a while back that Tyler Christopher would be interviewed by Benard. Finally, the wait is over for Tyler’s interview. Fans know that Christopher has been arrested for public intoxication before in Indiana in 2019. Christopher pled guilty to two counts of public intoxication in Martinsville then. Unfortunately, Christopher wasn’t ordered into a treatment program after two PI charges so close together.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tyler Christopher’s Career

General Hospital’s Christopher is best known for his role as Nikolas Cassadine. Nikolas is the son of Laura Collins (Genie Frances) and Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker Kelly). Nikolas was in a relationship with Sonny’s sister, Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis), and they had a son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). In 2016, it was confirmed that Christopher would not be returning to his role of Nikolas. Nikolas returned in 2019 but Marcus Coloma had taken over the role. Christopher also played Stefan O. Dimera on Days of Our Lives. In 2018, Christopher took off from the show for a bit. On October 23, 2019, it was announced that Christopher wasn’t returning to the role.

General Hospital’s Christopher was a fan favorite who was always expected to return. Fans continue to follow Christopher and cannot wait for an update on his health. Hopefully, State Of Mind will offer that. Again, Tyler will be on the March 27th episode, set your reminders.
