Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Gabi Blindsided, Ava Demands Jake’s Body?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will be blindsided in an upcoming DOOL episode. A devastated Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will demand Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) body so she can give him a proper burial.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Shot Before Her Eyes

Ava and Jake had about three minutes of being engaged before the mugger that had previously injured Nicole Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) shot Jake for Ava’s ring. Ava was going to give the mugger the ring and Jake said no – he stepped between the mugger and her and took the bullet in the stomach. Unfortunately, Jake didn’t last long and succumbed to his injuries and now a devastated Ava must cope with the tragedy.

Gabi Hernandez takes on the task of taking care of Jake’s body, which is very odd; but she and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) have their reasons. Even Jake’s half-brothers don’t trump Gabi, his late twin’s widow’s rights and Ava is upset when she finds out Gabi claimed his body.

DOOL Spoilers – Kristen DiMera Can’t Override This

It’s not like Ava and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) are best friends forever, but they would have been sisters in law had Jake not been killed. Ava first goes to Kristen about Jake’s last rites and she doesn’t even understand why Gabi claimed his body and doesn’t know what her plans are but she’ll investigate. Kristen is supportive of Ava’s plans to bury her brother and make sure he has a proper funeral but she has to find out where he is. Later, she will find out and will be stunned at Gabi and Rolf’s plans for Jake’s body; she updates Ava she can’t get anywhere with Gabi. Unfortunately, this is not something that she can override or she likely would.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Where Is He?

Ava goes to Gabi on her own and demands Jake’s body so she can give him a proper burial; they were only engaged for less than five minutes but doesn’t care. Ava and Jake actually knew each other back in Philly although not well, when he worked for her cousin Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) doing “collection work”. Gabi is blindsided and tells her what the DiMera family does with their dead is not her business.

Ava drops Kristen’s name and tells Gabi that she knows Kristen spoke to her about Jake’s final arrangements and couldn’t understand why Gabi claimed the body. Gabi lies and tells her that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) is handling her son’s arrangements, and Ava scoffs and tells Gabi she doesn’t believe that herself.

DOOL Spoilers – She’s Not Letting This Go

Ava makes it very plain to Gabi that she’s not letting this go, and there’s no way Vivian could be involved; she’s still in Statesville Prison. She wasn’t one of the lucky ones who got a governor’s pardon and she doubts Vivian has even been told of her remaining twin son’s death. Ava has heard of what Vivian is capable of, and she reminds Gabi in stark detail what Jake told her even though he only met her once. Gabi is quite knowledgeable about Vivian and claims she doesn’t know if she knows about Jake’s death or not. But she’s not revealing what any final plans for Jake are and she’s not giving him up to Ava; all she does reveal is that Rolf has him.
