Anna Duggar Keeps Her Distance As Josh Files An Appeal

The Duggars news and updates tease that Anna Duggar doesn’t want to take any part of Josh’s appeals to court. Reports say that she just wants to move on with her life.

According to a report by In Touch, Anna is starting to come to terms with the possibility that she and her kids will have to live life without Josh in the near future.

“Anna doesn’t want to get her hopes up and while he’ll always be the father of her children, she’s not sure if there is a future with Josh,” a source said.

“As far as I know she still communicates with Josh, but in her heart, all she has left is her children and her faith,” she continued.

The insider added that Anna is “working hard” to accept that Josh wont’ be a part of their lives following the guilty verdict. She just wants to forget everything that Josh has brought upon her and their kids. This may explain why Anna is no longer active on social media.

It only gives her stress, and Josh’s appeal is only adding “emotional strain” to her, which she no longer wants to deal with. She hoped that her husband was wrongly convicted, but he was eventually found guilty, and she’s learning to accept it.

Josh Duggar’s – Legal Team Files Appeal

On October 3, Josh’s legal team filed an appeal to the court. The 64-page document included a case summary, citations, and a request for a 20-minute oral argument.

Josh’s attorneys pointed out three legal points of contention. They involve whether his trial violated Josh’s “constitutional right to present a complete defense,” the court’s decision to suppress statements, and the court’s move to allow the government witness to testify while preventing Josh’s expert from doing so.

“Each of the errors giving rise to this appeal is sufficient to warrant reversal of Duggar’s conviction,” as per the brief.

Did The Duggars Accept Anna Duggar As Part Of The Family?

The Duggars never accepted Anna as part of their family, as per Anna Duggar’s childhood friend, which remains anonymous on Reddit.

“I’m not sure what their current dynamic is, but it wasn’t close outside of her and Jill, which now that Jill has sort of distanced herself I can’t imagine they are still close. In this world, you’re supposed to reject your former family and make your husband’s family your new true family,” the childhood friend wrote.

A source told In Touch that Anna hasn’t returned back to her in-laws but that she remains close to them and her family, the Kellers.
