Alex Baldwin seems to have put the “Rust” movie scandal behind him. Because despite the shooting tragedy that resulted in a death, the actor now has started filming a role that portrays him as Santa Claus. And the timing couldn’t be better, with Alec and his wife Hilaria Baldwin just announcing another pregnancy. As Baldwin preps to welcome his eighth child to the world, his life never looked rosier!

Alec Baldwin’s – Santa Claus Films In Rome

Rome marked the spot for Alec Baldwin to begin filming his new movie. And the actor wasted no time in getting into a holly jolly spirit by donning a Santa Claus costume, reported the Daily Mail. But Alec won’t need to worry about feeling supported so far away from home. His brother William is filming with him!

Filming only days after his wife Hilaria confirmed that she is pregnant with their seventh child, the 63-year-old actor seemed to enjoy the Italian lifestyle. But can Alec put his full attention on the holiday movie “Kid Santa” as some still recall what happened on his last movie set?

Last October, Baldwin was holding a revolver as he rehearsed for his movie “Rust.” But when the revolver fired, the ammo killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins as well as wounding the film’s director. However, Alec increasingly has sought to put all the scandal behind him.

Baldwin Brothers – Star In New Films

For those eager to see William and Alec Baldwin in the upcoming movie, put “Kid Santa” on your films-to-follow list! Italian director Francesco Cinquemani chose Alec and William Baldwin based on his previous experience with the brothers. The film expert also directed Alec on the 2015 film “Andron” and took the key role behind the cameras for the 2021 film “The Christmas Witch,” starring Alec’s brother William. As for specifics, “Kid Santa” will consist of a “live-action/animation family Christmas comedy.”

Christmas decorations turned the Italian set into a holiday season. And Alec focused on getting into his Santa Claus character, with observers noting the actor putting his full attention on his scripts. In addition to “Kid Santa,” Baldwin will film “Billie’s Magic World” in Italy.

Alec and William will work on the movies for four weeks total. Gianluca Curti, who heads up Italy’s Minerva Pictures, explained that the Baldwin brothers will focus on filming the live action scenes in Rome. And for those questioning why Alec got hired despite the fatal shooting on “Rust,” Curti clarified that Alec had gotten signed up prior to the tragedy.
