The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Victor Newman, (Eric Braeden) unaware that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is faking, will promise to see her recovery through in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Chelsea has been faking her lack of recovery to trap Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and get revenge on him and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) after she saw the viral photo someone took of Adam kissing Sharon at Society. She has had her best friend Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) helping her pull off the scam, and as soon as her plan is complete to get revenge on Adam, then she will go get their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and leave town!

In the meantime, she has fooled even the psychologist that has been making home visits, who replaced Sharon when she told Adam she couldn’t help them anymore. She has also been fooling the doctors, that Victor has been helping procure and possibly even pay for, as well as her home health care nurse. As far as anyone except Chelsea and Chloe know, she is still wheelchair bound, paralyzed, and cannot speak.

When Victor pays Chelsea a visit, she has no choice but to fake her lack of recovery to him as well as to everyone else, to avoid spoiling her plan to get back at Adam. Meanwhile, Victor is handling another family crisis; one involving Adam, and one that Chelsea herself may be responsible for!

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Is A Person Of Interest In The Poisoning Of Rey Rosales

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will also recall that Rey Rosales, (Jordi Vilasuso) a policeman with the Genoa City Police force and Sharon’s new husband, was a victim of thallium poisoning. Forensic specialists found the deadly substance in Rey’s hair gel, his body wash and his shaving cream. Luckily for Rey, Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Dr. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) found the problem in time and a good dose of Prussian Blue cleared the thallium from Rey’s system.

Rey blamed Adam, and Adam blamed Chloe, because he saw that someone had sent several suspicious texts to Sharon from his phone – indicating he wanted her back, and Sharon had texted back for him to leave her alone because Rey was sick! Adam hadn’t had the chance to tell Sharon he didn’t send the texts, and realized someone could have sent them from his tablet – someone who, as he told Chelsea, “knew his life”.

Chelsea has been successfully fooling Adam so he suspected Chloe, and he has not been able to prove his innocence. So Victor, not sure if he can get Adam successfully exonerated even though he believes he’s innocent, knows he has to step up to make sure that Chelsea is taken care of! Victor cannot promise that Adam will be around to care for her, but he wants her to make sure that if he isn’t, he will, and he will see her “recovery” through! Not very many people can fool Victor, but Chelsea is fooling him too!
