The Young And The Restless Spoilers: What’s Wrong With Stitch?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ben Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) is hopefully just lonely and hurting, due to Max Rayburn’s (Jared Breeze) deteriorating condition. Y&R fans are hoping that Stitch doesn’t need to be restrained or repaired, meaning that he’s stalking Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).

Stitch’s unanticipated and unannounced appearance at the Chancellor mansion was welcomed. But his subsequent return to the house on two occasions, which now appears to have been preceded by an unauthorized entrance, implies that the doctor is in need of care.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Stabby Didn’t Work Back In The Day

Abby and Stitch talked about their marriage as though it was a long time ago. While that’s true in soap opera time, Stabby ended in 2016 Their union only lasted a year.

The audience was as surprised as Ben when Abby decided to tell her husband that she never loved him. Their parting wasn’t contentious, but rather sad.

Ben, who had earlier interest in Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), which created a rivalry between mother and daughter, eventually fell hard for Abby. Now, it clearly appears that he hasn’t gotten over his ex-wife.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Is An Absentee Husband

Chance Chancellor (as last played by Donny Boaz) is a good man. Yes, but Ben correctly pointed out that he’s also not present, which leaves Abby alone.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took note of Stitch’s interest in Abby’s welfare. Carrigan’s character was open about caring for Abby and wanting the best for her.

The Moustache liked Stitch and approved of Abby being with him. That was one of the rare occasions Victor was supportive of any of his children’s romantic connections and or spouses.

But Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) both thought it was odd that Stitch asked Abby to accompany him to a retirement party at Genoa City Memorial Hospital. He seems to have used that event as a cover. Contact with Abby is likely the real reason he came back to town.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – More Plot Filler Or A Resolution?

Chance’s sudden removal from the Chabs storyline, that included a recent marriage, honeymoon, and a complex baby plan, was jarring. The Young and the Restless audience, like the involved characters, maintains its confused reaction to Boaz’ contract not being renewed and the character also not being recast since.

So, is Stitch’s GC return more plot filler or is this the lead-in to a resolution? Abby can’t possibly be left in limbo indefinitely, right?

Two questions with the first answer leaning toward plot filler. Ideally, Stitch won’t prove harmful, as that wouldn’t be respectful of the good-hearted character Carrigan portrayed. The second answer is yet to be determined, as Abby’s world remains in flux.
