The Young and the Restless alum Max Ehrich (Fenmore Baldwin) didn’t impress CBS and movie fans when the news broke that he allegedly battered his own mom. And, they don’t care that he was supposedly under the influence of nitrous oxide at the time.
Max Is A Bully?
Given the fact that when he and Demi Lovato broke up, Max claimed he was being bullied by her fans, many folks seem angry about his alleged aggressive behavior with his own mom. The news that arrived via the media claimed that he was arrested on Tuesday.

Michael Fairman TV explained that allegedly:
Police received a domestic violence call Tuesday night from someone who claimed Ehrich was live streaming himself beating on his mother. Police say they responded to the Florida home Ehrich shares with his mom, who officers found at a neighbor’s residence after an altercation with Max.
At the time, the news also alleged that he often used nitrous oxide, and this time, seemed very aggressive as he apparently kicked her on the thigh. Well, he’s now out of police custody, having been set a bond of $1000 after being charged with one count of battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
As his mom Rhonda falls in that specification, many Y&R fans feel like he beat up on a grandma, and they let their feelings out on Reddit.
Fans React With Disgust
Of course, when Max Ehrich left Y&R, Zach Tinker took over his role, and Max went on and filmed in other movies. When the news about the alleged attack on his mom arrived on r/youngandtherestless, readers discussed their thoughts about his behavior.
One critic said in the discussion area, “I’d like to suggest he get some counseling because assaulting one’s parent crosses all kinds of boundaries, IMHO.”
Here are a few other reactions to the news:
- There’s always been something off about him. After his breakup with Demi Lovato, he would post weird things on social media.
- A douche on the show….
- there’s a lot of stories about actors doing shady sh*t lately.
They didn’t confine their comments to Reddit, either. Some folks went onto pinned posts on Max’s official Instagram and talked about it there as well. One of them wrote, “Domestic violence on a 65 year old family member? I sure hope this was a wake up call for you to seek help.”
On another post about his mom, a CBS fan told the actor, “Max GO GET HELP!!!! If you keep going like this you’re going to die! And we love you – we don’t want that to happen!”
