According to reports, we are going to be seeing a lot of royals in tartans in the coming months as members of the monarchy will continue to put on fashion shows at their royal engagements and public appearances. However, it looks like 2021 will bring on more avant-garde plaids as the likes of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will help put the new style in the spotlight. Kate loves to wear her plaid as a midi dress with a white collar, pleated skirt and a belt. Meghan Markle, meanwhile, was spotted wearing a timeless plaid trench coat during her royal tour of New Zealand back in 2018.

While many fashionistas have noticed that this season’s nail polish color is black both the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge are pulling together for a seismic shift in nail color trends.
