General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Gladys Corbin Seems To Be Attracted To Rich Bad Men

General Hospital viewers know that Gladys always seems to be attracted to the bad boys, and the richer the better! She was getting a real sweet deal from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) until he threw her under the bus, along with Brando. She thought she was the one in charge when she was living in a nice condo paid for by Cyrus in exchange for her false testimony against Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) the best friend of her own distant cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Those General Hospital viewers who study genealogy know if Gladys and Mike Corbin (Max Gail) were first cousins, Sonny is actually her first cousin once removed, leaving Brando and Sonny as second cousins. Before that, who knows?

She came to Port Charles after Sonny offered her money to use Brando’s name as Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) birth father so he could get some fake identity papers for him to stay in the United States and safe from the Turkish terrorists who were after him. Sonny gave her lots of money, and even a car so she could go back where she came from, which was Bridgeport, Connecticut.

But, Gladys kept turning up like a bad penny for more and more money. Now that her latest source of income is tucked away in the infirmary at Leavenworth, and Brando’s garage isn’t making enough money to support her lavish lifestyle, she’ll keep making trouble for the Corinthos family. But a certain person from her past might be behind another kind of trouble they’ve been having!

GH Spoilers And Rumors – Could Vincent Novak Be Brando Corbin’s Birth Father?

General Hospital viewers will recall that according to Mike Corbin, Brando’s father was a deadbeat who wouldn’t step up and marry Gladys when she was pregnant with Brando and just left town. But maybe that deadbeat did manage to make something of himself and Gladys secretly tracked him down now that she needs more money and a more lavish lifestyle! Many General Hospital viewers thought that Cyrus could have been an old boyfriend of Gladys’ considering his attempts to take over Sonny’s territory happened the same time Gladys came to town and Brando showed up, saving Carly’s life when the Corinthos coffee warehouse was attacked.

However, as time went on, no such revelation took place. Now, another crime family wants Sonny’s territory and have already blown up the Corinthos coffee warehouse on Pier 55, and Jason and Carly have had to take the unusual step of getting married so Jason won’t have to eliminate her or make her disappear from Port Charles. The two of them marrying shows unity and an undivided front to the Novak crime family, the head of which is Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto).

It may just be a coincidence that Gladys is in town still and the Novaks are attacking the Corinthos family, and it may just be mob business. But considering Gladys’ propensity towards the bad boys and hearing he’s in town or possibly contacting him, finding out he’s rich now, if Vincent isn’t her old boyfriend and baby daddy, she might even lie to him and tell him he is – for his money!
