General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Sofia Mattsson, who plays the pregnant Sasha Gilmore on General Hospital is actually pregnant, according to one source who frequently leaks spoilers that are right on target!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Sofia Mattsson Recently Celebrated Her First Wedding Anniversary

General Hospital viewers who keep up with the beautiful Swedish actress will know that Sofia recently celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary to her husband Thomas Payton, also an actor. This was before General Hospital viewers came to know her as Sasha Gilmore, the beautiful young girl that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) hired to play Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter in 2018.

Observant fans have noticed that since her character Sasha had that hot backseat romp with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) in a Jeep he was working on in the garage that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gave him, she’s been looking a little plump around the tummy. The question that many General Hospital fans have had, is that other than a plot point to make more trouble between Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and his driver-slash-Corinthos family spy, why Sasha would be written pregnant.

It sounds like from the source’s knowledge that it is because Sofia is pregnant in real life. When one checks Sofia’s social media accounts, there are a lot of questions to her as to if she is pregnant in real life but there have been no denials. Right now, General Hospital has been on a short break and Sofia would have had time to answer such questions or issue official denials through her press agent, but she has not.

GH Spoilers – Sofia Mattson AKA Sasha Gilmore Looks Four Or Five Months Along

General Hospital viewers will have noticed that Sofia aka Sasha appears to be four or five months along – probably closer to four, just beginning to show unless she carries small. General Hospital producers and writers may have learned their lesson from the last time that Emme Rylan, who played Lulu Spencer was pregnant with her daughter Dakota Money that it might be easier just to write in an actress’ pregnancy. In Emme’s case, there was no hiding that pregnancy, but where Lulu had been written unable to carry a baby and in need of a surrogate, it was either she goes on a leave of absence or be replaced temporarily. Instead, viewers were called upon to suspend disbelief as Emme wore a dress to the Nurses’ Ball that made her look like a pumpkin!

More recently, Amanda Setton’s pregnancy was written in but she was much farther along than Brook Lynn Quartermaine was supposed to be. Plus, it was during the pandemic so Briana Lane took over for her while she was out on maternity leave. If over the next several months, Sofia does not publicly confirm or deny her real-life pregnancy and she is pregnant in real life, General Hospital viewers may see Brando and Sasha go on an extended honeymoon – or running away from home, to get away from his overbearing mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs)!
