General Hospital Comings & Goings: TikTok Star Caitlyn Reilly Joins GH

General Hospital (GH) spoilers say that if she looks familiar, then there’s a very good chance that you’ve spent several hours watching her do her thing on the popular dance app TikTok. Caitlyn Reilly, whose real-life father is the late John Reilly, will make her debut on May 21 in the role of Annie Donely, whose father Sean was played by John. Here’ what you need to know.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest spoilers in a new interview, Caitlin says that her getting her new role on General Hospital was kind of like kismet. She said that when she announced on social media that her father had passed away, General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini reached out to her. Frank also told her that the show was planning on doing a tribute episode for her father. Of course, it was an opportunity that she just couldn’t pass up.

The blonde beauty told the publication, “A couple of months went by and they reached out to my representation and asked if I wanted to be a part of the tribute show. Of course, I said yes. It’s a super special thing to be a part of. My dad loved being on the show so much and I am just happy that I got to act with all of his old friends. We had such a fun day, and it was also very emotional and cathartic. It was sort of everything at once.”

GH Spoilers – Tribute Episode Planned For John Reilly

Caitlyn also said that she was surprised to find out just how much her character would be featured in the tribute episode. She makes it no secret that getting this much screen time on General Hospital was both wild and exciting for her. It was also very meaningful.

She added, “I honestly thought I was going to be in one scene, that it would be sort of a fun experience and I didn’t think anything past that.”

Let’s just say that this is going to be an episode that you surely don’t want to miss. Just be prepared that it will be an emotional one full of surprises. General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network.
