It is teased that during the week of December 20, everyone will try to protect Ciara and her unborn child. This means that the devil will probably have no luck getting access to the child.

It is confirmed that “MarDevil” wakes up Jan from her coma. There is a specific reason why the devil does this and the two become partners. The devil needs a new baby and Jan wants Shawn. They could strike up a deal, which would explain the two Belle’s that were seen in the winter promo.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of December 20 reveal that Jan tricks Shawn into meeting her. The devil would easily be able to make Jan look just like Belle. So, when fake Belle calls Shawn and seduces him, there is no reason for him to question it. After all, Shawn thinks he is climbing into bed with his wife. Then, the real Belle comes home and finds her clone in bed with Shawn.

Shawn will be able to easily determine which woman is the real Belle. Remember the code word that Shawn told Ciara to use on the December 14 episode? Shawn will likely use that to identify which woman is his real wife. However, it might already be too late.

It is suggested that the devil only helps Jan get into bed with Shawn so she can have access to another baby. It is stated that Shawn and Belle are horrified by the deception.
