Jake (Brandon Barash) really believed Kate (Lauren Koslow) broke up with him but who can blame him? She might not have been acting like the usual Kate, but this woman had her face, build, and voice. It had to be Kate. And since he thought Kate broke up with him, Jake had to jump into bed with Gabi (Camila Banus) because that’s just who Jake is.
