Martha Madison, who plays Belle on the hit NBC soap, puts it this way, “I think he’s also trying to protect Belle from any future damage caused by Jan. But Belle loves her father and doesn’t want Jan to hurt anyone else so she’s not going to have that. It’s almost like father and daughter are trying to one up each other in the hero department.
