Days of Our Lives recaps reveal Kate almost died after being drugged by Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk). Kate opened the door and was thrown from the car. Kate lay in the woods until she came to and made her way to Dimera’s mansion. Kate walked in on Jake and Gabi in bed together. Kate was furious that Jake fell for Kristen’s lies. Kate couldn’t believe that Jake had fallen back into Gabi’s bed so quickly.

Afterward, Kate was attacked again by Kristen before being rushed to the hospital. Afterward Jake assured Gabi that he was going to stay with her. However, Jake’s guilt is getting to him and he blames himself for what has happened to Kate.
