According to our source, the actress in question is not making public waves about the dialogue at this time, perhaps waiting to see what the future holds at her current show. It’s not unheard of for disgruntled actors to reach out to other shows, and some even pitch a public campaign detailing their grievances. Fans can have a lot of pull with show exec’s and in certain cases have influenced casting decisions.

Several years ago execs at ABC soap General Hospital made it known that fan favorite actress Rebecca Herbst would be let go. At the time she had played Nurse Elizabeth Webber for years and the fans weren’t having it. The objection was so loud, so overwhelming that execs backed down and reversed their decision. Years later Herbst is still on the show and a pivotal character with plenty of storyline.

That’s not to say that this is or will be the case for the actress in question. But it’s an interesting scenario to ponder given that one actress, Katrina Bowden (Flo Fulton), has been the subject of much speculation as to what happens next with her seldom seen character. At one time Flo was driving story as a bad girl minx, but with her redemption came a shade of boring.

What exactly is Flo doing these days? She is paired with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and together they must be off making merry?

Executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell has heard the speculation as well and told Soap Opera Digest, ““They are both on other projects right now but they are still very much a part of the makeup of the show. We’ll be seeing story ahead for them in the fall.”

Both actors may be seldom seen on B&B due to busy schedules that include outside gigs. Brooks stars in “The Croods: Family Tree” for Hulu and Peacock. He’s been cast on Apple TV+ comedy series “Amber Brown,” and he is the lead in the upcoming comedy “Back to School.” Meanwhile Bowden has been cast in the crime drama “Dead Wrong,” an independent movie.
