90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Colt Johnson A Changed Man, Asks Vanessa To Be His Girlfriend

90 Day Fiancé spoilers and updates reveal following Larissa’s apology, Vanessa Guerra, new star of 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life, is back on Instagram.

90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson is one of six alums from the TLC franchise to join the new discovery+ spinoff, 90 Day: The Single Life. The show sees the singles getting help with their dating life and hopefully finding the right person. Colt may have already found “the one” as he wants to start officially dating Vanessa Guerra.

A sneak peek was released for Sunday’s upcoming episode of 90 Day: The Single Life. In the teaser, Colt is planning an intimate date with former “family friend” Vanessa Guerra. During the date, Johnson shares his feelings with Vanessa and asks her to be his girlfriend. However, before she agrees to this, Guerra wants to ensure that Johnson has learned from his past mistakes. Is he truly ready to be in an exclusive relationship?

In the clip, Colt, 35, tells the camera, “I booked a private chef’s dinner just for the two of us, and during the dinner I’m going to ask Vanessa to be my girlfriend.” He continues by saying he thinks Vanessa is having fun. Colt admits he likes to make her happy and wants to keep doing that.

However, while Colt is hopeful about a potential romance, he does understand why Vanessa is somewhat hesitant. Let’s face it, she had witnessed him go through two messy breakups with Brazilian beauties Larissa Lima and Jess Caroline.

TLC 90 Day Fiancé  Spoilers – Family Friend Turned Lover?

Colt has been friends with Vanessa for several years, even before he, and his ex-wife, Larissa, split. Johnson starred with Larissa on 90 Day Fiancé season 6. The Vegas native then tried for love with Jess Caroline on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. That relationship turned out to be a disaster, especially as Colt admitted on the show to cheating on Jess with Vanessa.

On a previous episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, Colt had asked Vanessa why they couldn’t become more than friends. She admitted that she doesn’t trust him. In the new teaser clip, Colt says he understands why Vanessa would be afraid. He says she knows that he hurt Jess and doesn’t want to be hurt herself. However, Colt swears that he has changed and that is why he wants to ask her to be his girlfriend. He is truly hoping that Vanessa will say yes.

Vanessa gets changed into a mini dress with heels and she and Colt are seated by a chef in an intimate setting. Colt says she looks “amazing.” Things seem to be going well, as their appetizers are served. Vanessa tells Colt that she feels “so spoiled.” She added that this was one of the best dates she had ever had.

Colt goes on to tell Vanessa that he is now a different man, a change he credits mostly to her. He said, “You know, a lot of the relationships I’ve been in the past, girls were embarrassed by me or they didn’t like something about me that made me feel very insecure. And it wasn’t until I started hanging out with you, just being your friend, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m actually normal.'” Vanessa assures Colt that she wouldn’t change anything about him.

Colt has friends that are getting married and having children and he realizes this is something he wants as well. He tells Vanessa, “I want that,” adding, “I really want to throw my effort into you.”

However, Vanessa needs assurance that he is ready to commit only to her. She asks him if he is 100 percent sure he can stop with all the other ladies. Colt tells Vanessa that he knows that she doesn’t really trust him. He tells her to talk to him should he have any suspicions. Colt asks her to be honest about how she feels. He also says there is only one girl he wants to spend time with and goes on to ask her to be his girlfriend.
