The Young and the Restless Spoilers: It’s High Time Victoria Kicked Billy To The Curb

The Young and the Restless spoilers demonstrate that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks when it comes to Billy (Jason Thompson). Does he have a fatal flaw in his genetics that makes him repeat the same shoddy behavior over and over and over again?

For that matter, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) shows no more insight than her non-husband. How many times has she taken him back only to find that he has done her wrong for the umpteenth time?

Here’s why Victoria needs to cut the ties that are binding her to Billy once and for all!

The Young and the Restless spoilers — Billy Boy and his never-changing character

First off, does Victoria really want to hear Victor (Eric Braeden) rail on again about what a loser Billy Boy is and how he’ll only ever end up disappointing her?

It’s about to happen as sure as the sun rises, now that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has dished to him that the beautiful couple are dealing with something. Hearing this he went on a tirade that he’s sure to tickle Victoria’s ears with sooner not later.

The Young and the Restless spoilers – Billy’s like a cartoon character

Second, why hasn’t Victoria realized that Billy resembles Pinocchio and Peter Pan much more than he’s ever taken on a three-dimensional human persona?

Even he knows it! Billy has admitted he’s at a fork in the road and leaving behind his job at Jabot was the first step to finding himself. The only problem is that he’s finding all the wrong people and things by spending his money and time in dive bars.

Will he ever grow up and stop lying about his actions? Victoria was right to get stinking mad when he told her he’s been keeping company with the town pariah Amanda (Mishael Morgan).

These liquid refreshment breaks may be the straw that finally breaks the camel’s back.

And they should be, because if Victoria isn’t tired of listing Billy’s mistakes and flaws ad infinitum, tons of viewers are. We all know and remember his gambling issue that once nearly cost her her life, his trying to run over Adam (Mark Grossman) which resulted in him crashing his car, how he’s broken her heart, etc. We know and remember because Victoria reminds us on a weekly basis—enough already!

Victoria, you are a grown woman with more dignity and brains than Billy could dream of, and you’re right when you despair that you’re going around in circles about his immaturity. Here’s what you need to do different though: stop telling him he has a problem and start recognizing that you’re a part of it.

The biggest reason you need to dump him now is that you can’t even see that you’re a part of the problem, not the solution.
