The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam And Victor Reach Agreement After Admission Of Guilt

CBS The Young and the Restless – Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are again at loggerheads. Adam refuses to believe his father’s story about Kansas, but it appears to be true.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is very troubled because she can see the effect this revelation has had on Adam. While she initially discounted Victor’s tale, a conversation with him at the Newman Ranch began to change her mind.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Caretaker Meeting Is Crucial

Victor told Chelsea that there was a witness to the event he’d described. As fans recall, Adam’s backstory was lengthened by Y&R’s writing staff. In a never before known storyline, Adam is said to have pushed Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) father from a barn loft.

A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name known for this character who has only been seen in retrospect), a loan shark who was trying to collect on a debt, apparently died instantly due to the impact of the fall. A caretaker at Hope Wilson’s (Signy Coleman) farm is said to have helped Victor coverup what Adam did.

Adam mentioned the caretaker after Chelsea arrived home. He then placed a call and set up a veiled visit with George (no character’s last name, or actor’s name known for this role) in Genoa City, Wisconsin. The true intent of the supposed friendly visit is to learn what George’s specific involvement and knowledge were of the event in question.

Y&R Spoilers – A Surprise Is Always Possible

Assuming Victor is telling the truth is risky. The Moustache has a deep reputation for lying when it suits his purposes. But it really does seem like he’s been protecting his and Hope’s son all these years.

Unless surprising information is revealed, that Victor may, or may not know, George will confirm the story. And with that Adam will have a decision to make.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Another Chance To Make Peace

Victor has responded differently to this situation than he has to many others. Most notably, he’s not angry. That alone seems to imply that he’s telling the truth.

The audience has seen Victor when Adam hasn’t been around. During those moments Braeden’s character has been lamenting the fact that this information came out, as he wanted to keep this door closed forever. But Adam kicked it open when he paid Alyssa to conduct a journalistic investigation and now whatever the truth is will come out.

Maybe, after all, teeth-gnashing is over, and Adam’s had his say he’ll realize that Victor was helping him and they can reestablish their bond.
