We’ve all seen Nikki’s new ‘do, so we really have to talk about it! Melody Thomas Scott has clearly been sporting a wig – and it’s not a good one in many Y&R fans’ eyes. Let’s look at what some Young and the Restless viewers had to say on Twitter.
“Nikki … That Wig … I won’t say anything else …” one fan tweeted. Another fan tackled the subject head-on: “And I can’t take Nikki seriously with that wig!! They need their glam squad back!!” “Couldn’t they get a better-looking wig for Nikki…” one more viewer asked. Another tweeted, “so Nikki doesn’t have a storyline right now but…her Wig become the story!”
Nikki’s wig has indeed given fans something to talk about. Of course, Melody Thomas Scott is always fabulous – wig or no wig. Scott’s an excellent actress and a valuable part of The Young and the Restless. That wig’s just causing quite an uproar and has to be addressed. We’re just the messenger here, but it’s clear that many fans are hoping for a better wig if Nikki’s going to keep wearing one!
As far as the Newman family’s storyline goes, there’ll be tons of drama that’s not related to Nikki’s hair going on in the weeks ahead.
