The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge And Brooke At A Standstill – Is There Hope Left For ‘Bridge?’

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) wants to believe that yesterday can be restored on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. But Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is a realist. The subject of ‘Bridge’s’ marriage might be the only plot point where Brooke’s logical side is overwhelmed by her emotions and where her often-time husband is the voice of reason.

Ridge’s outlook on the most important issues has been fanciful, at best. It’s also fair to tag his view of reality as weak. Brooke’s refusal to go along with Ridge’s shielding of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is principled and doesn’t seem likely to change.

Yet, both halves of ‘Bridge’ love each other, which makes reconciliation a potential remedy for their intended divorce.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Shidge Potential Appears To Be Increasing

The Christmas day invite is a bit of a peace offering, although it felt more like a recognition that even apart, ‘Bridge’ is still together. The real test for this particular B&B relationship will come when Ridge makes a decision about Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).

If Shauna is paraded throughout Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) house, like Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) was by Thomas, then someone will make sure Brooke knows about it. Then again, Lang’s iconic character could be written to the front door, where she would enter and learn about ‘Shidge’ for herself.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Wants His Wife Back

There’s no doubt that Ridge loves Brooke more than any woman alive. However, he had divorce papers drawn because his wife made a point of removing her rings in front of him and because she won’t forgive his son.

Thomas’ hope was to break his father’s marriage to Brooke. With that now seemingly accomplished, Atkinson’s character has moved onto the appearance of a burgeoning relationship with Zoe. So, Thomas is laying off Brooke right now, which means a lesser amount of conflicts should take place between them in the near future.

Despite Brooke’s stance, Ridge is still open to reconciling. But Brooke won’t budge off her belief that Thomas remains a danger to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and others. So, Ridge’s dilemma persists.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Wants Her Husband Back

If Ridge would only agree to get a therapist for Thomas. That step would ease Brooke’s mind and likely allow her to restart their marriage.

The man she’s loved for so many years, but has also lost in the past, continues drifting. It deeply pains Brooke to see Ridge being used by Thomas, especially considering all that happened since Beth Spencer’s (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) existence was withheld from the Forrester’s and the Logan’s.

In order to get her husband back, Brooke needs the current dynamic to change. Short of that, ‘Bridge’ is likely over (for now).
