General Hospital Spoilers: Nancy Lee Grahn Urging Soap Fans To Stay Home, Provides Update On Filming

General Hospital: Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis)In an effort to save others, social distancing has become very important while we handle the spread of the coronavirus also called COVID-19. The virus has infected and impacted many worldwide and has even left many persons dead. While companies have shut down, schools have closed, people are staying home, television shows have shut down production soap stars are finding things to occupy their time.

Nancy Lee Grahn who assumes the role of Alexis Davis on General Hospital recently announced her upcoming podcast called Soaps In Quarantine. She wrote, “Dear Daytimers. I will be doing an audio podcast “Daytime in Quarantine” beginning this week. Stay tuned.”

Firstly, when her show announced that they would be putting a pause on a production she wrote, “a highly responsible decision to shut down filming of General Hospital for 4 weeks was made beginning Monday. We are weeks ahead so episodes will air as scheduled. Stay home, wash hands, don’t touch your face and keep watching #GH. We love you. Be safe.”

To follow up on her podcast she advised fans, “Daytimers, Prior to bringing laughter & love to you this Friday, we’ll have temps taken, be hosed down with a Lysol sprayer, wrapped in sanitized napkins & sat 8 ft apart. Link up Friday. Stay safe.”

The first episode of her podcast was officially released today, March 20, 2020. The episode is hosted by Grahn and Kaore Bonell. They were joined by special guests; Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summer, The Young and the Restless and ex-Nina Reeves, General Hospital) and James Patrick Stuart (Valentine Cassadine, GH) as they navigate the reality of social distancing.

In the video placed on YouTube, the stars can be seen in the comfort of their zone as they handled the discussion. It seemed to be a four-way video call that was recorded and later uploaded to the platform for viewing by fans.

Bonell is known as a writer and host of the weekly podcast “Suck The Joy” with Kathleen Wilhoite. This is an exciting new project for him and Grahn.
