General Hospital Spoilers – Is Brad Cooper Thinking About His Awful Misdeeds

As GH viewers will recall, in recent episodes we’ve seen Brad languishing away in a jail cell. He’s had plenty of time to sit and think about his awful misdeeds and his ruined life ever since he tearfully confessed to the horrific baby-swap scheme concocted by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). More importantly, images of Sonny’s wrath have had time to make the rounds inside Brad’s weak mind.

Just moments before Brad was having a conversation with Julian Jerome (William deVry). In that conversation, Julian urged him to, “just stick to the script.” However, any promises Brad made before Sonny’s entrance just might go out of the window!

GH Spoilers – Brad Cooper Hoped For.A Complete Acquittal

As GH fans may remember, after Brad went to jail he ended up making a deal with Julian. In that agreement, Brad promised to prevent the man’s knowledge of the baby-swap plot from coming to the attention of Sonny Corinthos (or anyone else). In exchange for Brad’s continued silence, Julian would hire the most effective defense attorney possible. Brad’s hope was that he would receive a complete acquittal.

Originally, Sonny felt that any retribution against Brad ought to come from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). However, it’s possible that with Michael having to deal with the child custody battle brought on by a recently acquitted Nelle, Sonny has decided to take matters into his own hands. After all, as he told Michael, “Things have a way of working out.”

To ensure that Brad pays a heavy price, Sonny may insist that Brad plead guilty during his arraignment. Of course, if that happens, it will completely dash the hope Brad placed in Julian’s hired lawyer. In fact, Brad and Julian’s efforts to keep Brad out of prison would be all for nothing. At that point, Brad would have very little to lose and he could try to cut a deal with Sonny by exchanging information about Julian if only Sonny stops insisting that Brad plead guilty.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Sonny Corinthos Using Threats To Scare Bradley Cooper

Another possibility is that Sonny may not actually be there to exact revenge. It’s also possible that he is simply using threats to scare Brad into cooperating with the Corinthos family against Nelle Benson. With Michael’s custody battle looming, Sonny may be in the process of bringing those he considers assets in that war into his grasp.

Of course, it remains to be seen how exactly this will all play out. One thing is certain however, a sniveling Brad could drag Julian Jerome into the picture. For Sonny (and Julian), this would surely be an unexpected and unwelcome development!
