General Hospital spoilers – Kelly Monaco returns

For the week of August 17, 2020, there is definitely a significant announcement that affects GH fans in general and JaSam fans in particular. That’s right, after a brief absence, Kelly Monaco is back on the set as Samantha McCall. Prior to this, it was necessary for Monaco to do a 14-day quarantine.

This happened even though the brunette tested negative for the COVID-19 virus three times. Her mom Carmina was the one who let fans know what was happening via social media.

As a result of her return, we should see the irascible mom soon.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lindsay Hartley Has Left The Building

According to Carmina, Kelly had issues with her coronavirus mask during filming. As we all know masks are a requirement in the state of California where the show tapes.

Lindsay Hartley, formerly Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions, stepped in at the last minute to fill in for Kelly. For her part, the gracious actress acknowledged her role in the sudden event, saying she knew she had big shoes to fill.

She then went on Instagram to thank the soap for, “a fun ride.” We think her personal acknowledgment of the epic and unexpected daytime situation was a class act.

Hartley also played Cara Castillo on All My Children and Arianna Hernandez on Days of Our Lives.

GH Spoilers – Who Is Leaving GH?

Elsewhere actor Scott Takeda is gone as Judge Richard Lowe. He took charge of the custody battle between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) over baby Wiley.

The judge definitely earned his money for that trial as he had a circus in the court trying to keep control of the various and assorted concerned parties. Now comes the fun part, what will Nelle do to get revenge for losing the case? Be sure to tune in to see if she actually kidnaps Wiley!
