A sneak peek picture shows Steve and Hope will destroy the Stefano DiMera portrait that Princess Gina von Amberg painted of “Steve-ano.” They will continue to develop a connection with each other, too.

“They understand each other in a way that no one else can, and it makes for a very interesting bond. You’ll have to see what develops there. At the same time, Steve is in this mode of, ‘Kayla’s happy with a really good guy, and also I care a lot about Justin, who lost Adrienne [Kiriakis, Judi Evans], and I wasn’t even there for that.’”
