Chad DiMera, (Billy Flynn) brainwashed by his father Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) to become Stefano’s assassin, receives orders to kill Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).

Apparently Stefano’s “Katerina” isn’t so important to him now that he has Marlena Evans, (Deidre Hall) his “queen of the night”, and besides, Katerina betrayed him by telling whose body he is in, namely Steve “Patch” Johnson, and also whose body Princess Gina Von Amberg (Kristian Alfonso) is in, namely Hope Brady. But then Stefano doesn’t have much loyalty to anyone anyway – he hasn’t made any moves at all to rescue Princess Gina from being turned back into Hope Brady!

DOOL Spoilers – Justin Kiriakis Confides In Jack Deveraux

Meanwhile, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) confides his fear of losing Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Apparently Kayla is not recovering well from her, Justin and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) having been gassed in the storage room where Stefano had held Kayla hostage after she had treated him for a gunshot wound after a struggle with Chad over a gun.

It hasn’t really been all that long ago that Justin was burying his wife of many years – well, many years on and off – Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Justin doesn’t think he could handle losing Kayla so soon after losing Adrienne!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Stefano DiMera Tries To Reconnect With Marlena Evans

Elsewhere, Stefano tries to reconnect with Marlena after Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) procedure. Rolf more than likely implanted a control chip in Marlena’s brain that will cause her to forget about John and respond and submit to Stefano.

Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Stefano brainwashed, drugged, or otherwise controlled Marlena many times over the years; even some that caused side-effects that allowed her to be possessed, and turning into MarDevil! She also became the Salem Stalker under the control of Stefano, which it looks like something similar is happening to Chad now.

DOOL Spoilers – John Black Seeks Princess Gina Von Amberg’s Help

John seeks Princess Gina’s help to find Marlena and Stefano; she has not returned to herself as Hope Brady since the chip has not been removed from her brain yet. Even if she knew where they were at she probably would not tell him the truth, and would likely lead him on another wild goose chase as she did in Prague, where she captured him and held him hostage!

However, playing on her attractions to him, John will certainly try to get the truth out of her as to places that they may be!
