Meanwhile, Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) one-night stand a year ago with Kate is continuing to complicate things. He made a mistake that one time, but it seems like he has to pay the price every single day. It was one night of passion while Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) was comatose. However, Jennifer seems to think that Jack and Kate still have something going on.

During the week of December 28, Jack will once again be punished for something he’s not even doing. Jennifer is set to forgive her husband when she catches him standing near Kate at a New Year’s party. Even though Jack and Kate can’t avoid crossing paths or being invited to the same party, Jennifer seems to think this is “proof” that they are still sleeping together. So, Kate goes straight to the jilted wife and tells her she is enjoying a man in bed… but it’s Jake, not Jack.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Accusing Abigail DiMera

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chad has already accused Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) of having an affair. Even though he regretted it afterward, it will come back up. Chad knows that Jake didn’t give Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) jewelry for Christmas. He asks the nanny if Jake bought the gift for someone else, which she confirms. Of course, Chad thinks that person is Abigail when it’s really Kate.

This week, Gwen will check into the Salem Inn using Abigail’s name. She makes sure that the information gets back to Chad. He will once again assume Jake and Abigail are sleeping together, so he hops into bed with the nanny.

DOOL Spoilers – Chad DiMera Disappears

After confiding in Jennifer, Kate realizes that the secret was supposed to protect her, not ruin anyone else’s relationship. She decides that it would be best to tell the truth. So, Jake and Kate go public with their relationship. As this is going on, Chad realizes he just made a huge mistake.

Guilty and horrified that he cheated on Abigail because he had the wrong information, Chad goes missing. This will set up a desperate search to find the missing heir, but he’s not the victim of a crime. He simply doesn’t want to be found right now because he would have to look Abigail in the eyes and admit to betraying their vows. Unfortunately, Jake and Kate’s bombshell announcement will come just one day too late.
