Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that in Salem Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will catch Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) in a very inopportune moment this week on Days of Our Lives. Will he answer the door to his lady love, or will he send her away?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Claire Brady Has Charlie Dale’s Christmas Present And Decided To Deliver It In Person

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that in Friday’s episode, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Claire had been talking about Claire’s boyfriend Charlie. They were talking about how Claire had his Christmas present for her, but he didn’t have his. He had become ill at the family Christmas party and went home early. Allie convinced her to go to his home to deliver it; as the great-granddaughter of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), Claire should be able to pull some strings with Titan Industries’ human resources department to get his home address. Of course, what neither one of the girls know yet is that it was Charlie who raped Allie and fathered baby Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).

They don’t know that Charlie faked his illness either, nor do they know that he kidnapped his mother, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), and has her tied up to a chair in his apartment! He has gagged his mother and tied her more securely since when he arrived home she had wiggled out of her restraints! Then he is shocked to hear a knock on his door and Claire calling out to see if he’s at home! He has to decide whether to send her away or to answer the door and then take the Christmas present and tell her to go home because he’s still sick!

DOOL Spoilers – Charlie Dale Is In The Midst Of A Real Dilemma!

Charlie is in the midst of a real dilemma! He cannot chance Claire hearing Ava’s cries for help, and he cannot chance her seeing Ava in the background tied to a chair if he opens the door! If he knocks Ava out again to drag her into another room it might make too much noise, and besides, what if she comes too while Claire is there in the apartment? He is still a little insecure in his relationship, so he isn’t sure whether to just send her away, take the present and send her away, or just not answer at all! Claire will either worry about him being too sick to answer, or she’ll assume he lied about being sick and be turned off!

He certainly cannot risk her finding out what he really is and that he not only raped Claire’s cousin Allie but tied his own mother to a chair-bound and gagged! He decides he’s going to have to lock Ava up in the bathroom while he turns the shower on full force to disguise any noise she might make. He gets in a bathrobe after stepping in briefly to corroborate his story. He took so long to answer the door because he was in the shower. He turns on the bathroom fan also. He will tell Claire he is still not feeling well, open the Christmas present in front of her, and thank her nicely, and try to get her to leave.

He answers the door in the bathrobe with wet hair and makes his excuse and apologizes. There is one problem. Claire hears the shower running and Charlie should probably go shut it off. He fumbles for another excuse and tells her the water was cold and he’s letting it warm up a little before he goes back in! He makes a big deal about the freezing water and makes it funny. Claire laughs, and is happy he likes her Christmas present as well as she likes his! Finally, she leaves, but this was too close a call! Charlie needs to find a more permanent solution to the problem of his blabbermouth mother!
