Young and the Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales Will Get His Job Back

As viewers will remember Rey lost his job when he helped Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) escape from prison. The women were serving their sentence in the murder of JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill).

Rey agreed to help Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in their plot to expose JT. The plan worked when it was revealed that JT was alive and the women were set free. However, Rey’s actions led to him getting fired.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Rosales Misses Being A Detective

Rey went to work as a private investigator for Nick by following his brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). However, Rey quit because Adam became a source of conflict between him and Sharon.

Realizing he missed being a detective, Rey asked Paul if he could come back to the GCPD. Paul agreed to give Rey another chance, but not before reminding Mr. Rosales of his previous actions and issuing a warning.

So will Rey’s second chance at the GCPD be cut short again?

Rey doesn’t want to do anything to screw up his job, however odds are before long something’s going to come up that’ll put his job in jeopardy.

Young and the Resless Spoilers – Can Rey Rosales Lose His Job Again?

So who or what will cost Rey his job?

One theory is that his mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) will find herself in trouble and Rey being the head of the family will help her. This could also set in motion the arrival of Rey’s father in Genoa City.

Another theory is that Rey will lose his job because of Adam. Rey is concerned about Adam’s influence over Sharon, and that’s what led to him and Sharon breaking up. Adam could provoke Rey into a fight, and file a complaint against the police department thus resulting in Rey losing his job.

The next theory is that Rey learns new information in Delia’s case that could exonerate Adam. But instead of telling Paul, he’ll keep it a secret, which will end in someone getting hurt in the Adam and Billy feud.
