Billy is having a little bit of an identity crisis since leaving Jabot, and doesn’t quite know what to do with himself not having a job. He decides to go out and find some out-of-the-way bar just to be by himself and to figure out where he will go from here. He encounters Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), and strikes up a conversation with her.

After recovering from the shock of her extreme resemblance to the late Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), the two start to talk. Billy feels like he’s kind of lost his purpose in life and is feeling aimless since this is the first time in years he hasn’t been working in a corporate setting, but finds it very easy to talk to Amanda, not like talking to his therapist, which makes him feel buttonholed and put on the spot.

Amanda Sinclair Goes To The Jukebox And Is Accosted By A Drunk

The Young and The Restless weekly preview shows Amanda by the bar’s jukebox when a drunk comes up and accosts her. Presumably, this happens after Billy and she get acquainted, because he is standing close to her when this rude drunk comes up.

Amanda can take care of herself pretty well, but this drunk dude is getting on her last nerve, and she tells him to go back to his drink, or better yet, outside to get some fresh air and clear his head. The drunk sasses her back, asking her what if he doesn’t? Billy comes to her rescue, telling the drunk that everyone will stop being polite if he doesn’t!

Billy Abbott And Amanda Sinclair Strike Up An Easy Friendship

Billy and Amanda strike up an easy friendship, as they continue to have drinks together and talk to each other. Billy starts to actually feel Amanda is a kindred spirit, that the two have a connection and understand each other like others perhaps do not. Meanwhile, there is quite the winter storm building up outside in Genoa City, with strong winds, and trees falling.

Suddenly the power goes out, and Billy and Amanda figure they better just stay where they are at and ride out the storm! The roads can be a very dangerous place when trees are falling and knocking out power lines, not to mention trying to maneuver one’s car in that strong of wind. Meanwhile, across town at Newman Enterprises, Billy’s wife Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are also left in the dark as the power has gone out there as well! It sounds like this storm will cause a lot of damage and destruction so it’s best for everyone to stay where they are if they’re not on the road!
