The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Sharon Case reveals it is time to go back to work after several weeks off for Christmas. She said that as hard as it was to come back to work, the Y&R fans will be happy with the work they are doing. Case said that Sharon Newman will need someone to save her, suggesting that she will be getting a good storyline in the near future.
Return To Work
The Y&R fans have been waiting for news that the show is back to their taping schedule. They have been “in the dark” for a few weeks. As dedicated viewers know the cast return from Christmas to tape February sweep material. Considering Sharon’s juicy tidbit of her alter ego needing someone to save her, it seems to tie in with the storyline that Sharon is being watched or stalked.
‘Good Things Are Happening’
Case’s exact words were, “Good things are happening.” The wording is key. It is the same verbiage that Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) and Kristoff St. John (Neil) used. It’s a clue that things will be improving under Josh Griffith’s writing.

For a while under Mal Young’s reign, the actors have voiced their disappointment of the storylines. They had wondered how they can fix it for the fans. After Young’s contract expired, the network decided not to renew it.
Braeden told the fans to be patient as good things are happening. With Sharon’s stalker storyline coming, it seems to tie into Case’s same comment. The fans are thrilled that Sharon is getting a good storyline and that Mal’s storylines will be ending.
