Young and the Restless News: Alyvia Alyn Lind Lands Role In Home Invasion Thriller

Also known as Faith Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” Alyvia Alyn Lind has joined the cast of a home invasion thriller titled “Masquerade.” She’s set to star in the movie after her return to Genoa City for the holidays.

The film, where Lind plays the role of the pre-teen Casey, is written and penned by Shane Dax Taylor. Her father, John Lind along with Steven Schneider, and Kenneth Burke, are the movie’s executive producer. The story revolves around Casey who fights to survive when burglars break and enter her home to steal a priceless artwork.

Austin Nichols from “One Tree Hill” and Mircea Monroe from “Hart of Dixie” portray Casey’s Parents. Meanwhile, Bella Thorne of “Famous in Love” and Skyler Samuels from “Scream Queens” portray the home invaders.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Lind Returns For The Holidays

Lind will reprise her role as Faith Newman on “The Young and the Restless” on Monday, December 23, just in time for the holidays. The young actress joined the cast of the sudser back in 2011. But McKenna Grace took over her role temporarily in 2013 until Lind’s return in 2014. Faith was last seen on-screen back in July 2019 when she came home from camp and found out that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) came back from the dead.

While away from the big screen, Lind is keeping herself busy. She’s landed a gig on Hulu’s “Future Man” and Netflix’s “Daybreak.” Her other acting credits include “Revenge,” “See Dad Run,” “Transparent,” “Masters of Sex,” “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love,” “9-1-1,” and “Alexa & Katie.”

Y&R Spoilers – Comings and Goings

Doug Davidson is expected to reprise his role of Genoa City police chief Paul Williamson on December 17 and 18. But, due to the preemptions for the impeachment hearings, his appearance may be pushed back a few days. The last time Paul was seen on screen was during the hostage crisis at the Grand Phoenix hotel.

Zack Tinker will also bring Fenmore Baldwin back on “The Young and the Restless” for the holidays. His character is currently on tour and was recently mentioned when photos of him doing drugs were used to blackmail Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
