Young And The Restless Last Week In Review – Mia’s Mistake – Phyllis’ Betrayal – Revisiting Past Sins And Pleasures

Young And The Restless Week In Review: Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) - Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle)Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) discovered she made a horrible mistake this week when she heard her sister-in-law was found floating in the Abbott pool after someone attacked her.

Considering how horrified Mia was when she arrived at the hospital to check on Lola’s (Sasha Calle) condition, you would think someone would be suspicious (hint, hint, Rey). Although it looked like she was ready to confess to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) several times, she missed her chance and will hopefully suffer the consequences.

In the meantime, when Mia found out Rey was making it his business to find out who attacked his little sister, she tried to throw him off the scent and blamed it on the enemies of the Newman family or the Abbotts.

Young And The Restless – Rey Believes Summer Attacked Lola

But Rey saw Kyle (Michael Mealor) yelling at Summer (Hunter King), when she showed up at the hospital, and he began to suspect that Snowflake is the one who attacked Lola. He’s dead wrong, of course, but that’s nothing new for him.

Speaking of Summer, she foolishly told Kyle she loved him, not once, but twice and unsurprisingly, Kyle shut her down pretty quickly.

Like the snake that she is, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) asked Christine (Lauralee Bell) for an immunity deal in exchange for her testimony about J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder. And if she could have signed it in blood before she threw her fellow Coven members under the bus, she would have.

Young And The Restless – Will Victor Be Out For Revenge?

One thing she didn’t bargain for was Victor’s (Eric Braeden) reaction when, at the arraignment, Christine told the gathered assembly that her star witness was none other than Phyllis.

“You may have made a deal with the prosecution,” Victor said, confronting Red in the courtroom. “But if my wife and my daughter go down as collateral damage, you’re going to have to deal with me.”

Well done Mustache, maybe once this whole mess is over with, you can lock Phyllis inside the walls at Newman Ranch with the mysterious stalker who spied on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for months.

Young And The Restless – Tribute To Thomas Scott’s 40th Anniversary

And finally, viewers were treated to a walk down memory lane this week, courtesy of Nikki Newman. As she wrote a letter to her grandchildren from her prison cell, she remembered her past sins and pleasures during the past 40 years.

Through flashbacks, we saw how she and Victor fell in and out of love many times, her enduring friendships and her entertaining rivalries.

It was truly a tribute worthy of an actress who has graced our screens for 40 years.

As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear here on Soap Opera Spy, where there will be more clues and hints over exactly what’s going on.
