General Hospital News – Recast For The Role of Georgie

Fisher wasn’t the one who debuted the character of Georgie Spinelli; it was Harper Barash who first played the role. She was Kirsten Storms’ real-life daughter with ex-husband Brandon Barash. Storms and her daughter worked together for two years. Fisher appeared as the new Georgie during Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) wedding back in 2017.

GH News – Ryan Paevey’s Fond Memories Of On-screen Partner, Maxie

Now, Maxie has already moved on with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) after Nathan’s untimely death. In a recent interview with Soaps In Depth, the actor who plays Nathan, Ryan Paevey, said he has nothing but good memories when he played his alter ego. He also has a lot of fond memories with his on-screen love interest, Maxie.

“Everybody likes to see young love — there’s a lot of hope and sweetness,” Paevey shared. “Everything that Nathan did, he did with Maxie in mind. He knew all of her favorite foods, favorite drinks, favorite shoes, favorite designers…”

If there was one scene that Paevey, and all viewers of General Hospital, won’t forget, it’s definitely the time when Nathan was shot and killed. He said he can still remember everything about his final scenes.

“Coming out of the elevator, being shot by Faison — who recognized the uniform but not [me as his son] — and being operated on by Griffin, who’d had an affair with my first wife [Claudette], so it would look kind of bad if he let me die,” Paevey recalled.

“And the last scene that I shot was with Kirsten [Storms] when I tell Maxie that I love her and both of us are crying, and when I go to sleep, my heart monitor codes,” he remembered.
