General Hospital Spoilers: T.J. Offers To Test As Kidney Donor For Mom Jordan, Will He Save His Mom?

General Hospital Spoilers: Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) General Hospital spoilers tease that T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will offer to help his mom, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) in a big way; by being tested for kidney donation. Jordan will be okay on dialysis for a while but will need a kidney transplant in the long run. This is why T.J. will want to step up to see if he can help out and get that kidney in her sooner.

It’s obvious Jordan is chomping at the bit to get back to work, she even tried to get out of her hospital bed while hooked up to IVs and monitors. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had to tell her “no can do”! So Jordan will definitely be an impatient patient until she’s one hundred percent again.

It’s possible that if T.J. isn’t a match, then both Curtis and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) may be tested as well. But if none of them match then Jordan will have to wait for a kidney. Too bad GH didn’t write Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) into the Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) murder spree as anything more than taking Kevin’s place in the cell in Ferncliff and sending her back to Pentonville.

General Hospital Spoilers Jordan May Have To Resign Her Position

If Nelle had been killed and a match for Jordan, wouldn’t that have been poetic justice. It doesn’t appear, as previously supposed, and that other General Hospital spoilers teased, that either Ryan himself or any of the teens at Niagara Falls will die and be a match.

According to the National Kidney Foundation, patients can live on dialysis for up to 30 years. But no matter what type of dialysis is used (there are several types) it is very expensive. The Federal Government though will pay up to 80 percent of the costs. It is also time-consuming, with each session lasting up to several hours and having to be done either every day or several times a week, according to the type of dialysis used.

Jordan may find herself either having to step down or working part-time with a co-Police Commissioner, which may be a first, or taking a leave, depending on how long it takes to find a donor, although people do manage to work at a job and still be on dialysis.

But it certainly won’t be as active of a role for Jordan if she’s trying to work around her dialysis. Stay tuned to GH and keep watching General Hospital spoilers frequently to see if Jordan has to opt for a type of dialysis, or if a donor is found.
