General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Comes To Valentin’s Defense In Lulu Custody Battle

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will come to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) defense in an upcoming episode of the ABC soap opera.

Loyal viewers will recall that since she admitted that she wasn’t really Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter, she always has defended Valentin. She took all the blame upon herself for the fraud even though he was the one who was behind it, and realizes that even though he lied to Nina, his motives were right even though his method was wrong. He just wanted to give Nina what her heart ached for so badly – a child; a child of her own, even though that child would by now be an adult.

Gh Spoilers– Lulu Spencer Is Coming After Valentin Cassadine

As General Hospital viewers will recall from previous episodes of General Hospital, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Valentin have gotten into a custody battle over Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) with Lulu promising to go after Valentin full force, with the intentions of proving him an unfit father!

To that end, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) met with Jax to dig up dirt on Valentin to use against him in family court. Jax produced a photo of Claudette Beaulieu, (Bree Williamson) who was the surrogate who carried Charlotte and who may know a lot more about Valentin and what kind of father he was to Charlotte when she was very, very tiny, and indeed a baby. Valentin made her disappear – to be sure, for her safety, but she fell into the hands of his enemy Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) anyway.

Valentin, in doing that, took away from little Charlotte the only mother she had ever known, and the story was that she committed suicide, but of course, GH viewers know she is alive. In this sense, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is little better; he made Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) disappear “for her own good” in a similar manner, taking away from little Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) the only mother she ever knew and leaving Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) who was still getting used to the idea he even had a daughter to raise her on his own!

General Hospital Spoilers– Sasha Gilmore Will Likely Defend Valentin Cassadine

Sasha will likely defend Valentin in family court; the last thing she will want for Nina is for her to lose even her stepdaughter (if she indeed does remarry Valentin) because even if they were remarried, Nina would have no legal standing where Charlotte and her custody is concerned.

The only way Nina will keep her stepdaughter or future stepdaughter is if Valentin retains custody, even if it does remain shared; Lulu will never allow Nina to step foot near Charlotte, and this will hurt Charlotte. This is one excellent point that will likely be brought up in court as well. Sasha wouldn’t be able to bear seeing Nina lose another daughter figure!
